Making it up.

Barak has been acting in LA since 2007, and jumped head first into the world of commercial acting. Over the years, he’s been on your TV and Hulu-ad breaks nearly nonstop, appearing in over 100 commercials, including 3 Super Bowl ads and a solid two year run of being the face of a Swedish soft drink. This has allowed Barak to work with the biggest stars and directors in the world, on sets that rival any summer blockbuster. He attributes his longevity in the industry to understanding what the needs of the production are, and being able to be quick funny. Also, the Swedes love a beard.

This was honed by his work as a sketch and improv comedian, from a decade as a full time traveling improvisor with Isaac Improv to his years with beloved UCB sketch team New Money. Barak has also challenged himself as a performer by fighting for dramatic roles, most recently in his feature film SPELL, an indie psychological thriller set in Iceland, which he both wrote and leads in.

His television credits include The Office, The Goldbergs, Shameless, Community, The Big Bang Theory, and Halt and Catch Fire. His favorite feature film credits include The Mortuary Collection, Spell, Mockingbird and Bounty Killer and Mockingbird.
